Solar power from your own roof
Not only Baden wine is spoiled by the sun, which pleases winegrowers and wine connoisseurs alike. The roof of our production hall, with a view of the local Kandel mountain to the south, also gets plenty of sunshine and has therefore been fitted with 115 photovoltaic modules to generate electricity.
In future, this photovoltaic system will supply a significant proportion of the electricity required in Franz Eckert GmbH's production facilities.
There is no question for us that this measure is a successful project. Because our grandparents already knew one thing: "Über Baden lacht die Sonne!"
In conjunction with other measures already implemented, such as new windows with insulating glazing, increased roof insulation, replacement of the lighting installation, etc., the need for external energy for our production is thus significantly reduced.
This not only reduces our costs, but also contributes to greater sustainability and environmental awareness in the use of our limited resources.
In addition, we are not only active when it comes to saving energy in the interests of the environment: things such as waste separation and recycling have been a matter of course for years.
The flowering meadows around the company building not only delight bees and butterflies, but also employees during their lunch break.
And as a manufacturer of filter elements, we are of course particularly aware of all the unavoidable things that occur in an industrial operation: whether fine dust filters for the exhaust air system, oil separators for condensation water from compressed air systems or noise protection measures for loud production machines. To protect our neighbors and our own employees.
With this in mind, we continue to work on keeping our ecological footprint as small as possible. Always on the lookout for new ideas for more sustainable production.
